Sometimes all we need is to take some time out and focus on ones self. As I was walking through Burrator on Dartmoor this stunning little Nuthatch decided to fly and land right next me feeding off the moss and bugs nearby. Goes to show if your quiet and looking around on a simple lonesome walk we notice the smaller creatures around us and appreciate what we have on our doorsteps.

What's the latest news then? I've been digging around for information about owls and decided to email the Barn owl trust with any information they could give me for rough locations to spot them. I know about all the security etc about these birds and they got back to me and ask if I would like to be in there contacts for future work including photographing next years owlets. Along with that I am getting out my trailcams again and placing them secretly in locations for badger and foxes and if I'm lucky enough pine martins. I'll keep you updated.....
